While the Defense struggled to stop a blister hot Drew Brees, Carr and the Offense over came two injuries on the O'line to break big plays and bring home the first opening week win in years for the Raiders. But the Headline of the game was Jack Del Rio's balls out call to go for a two point conversion and the win with under a minute to play. Win or go home. The play call was a perfectly timed and placed pass to Crabtree's outside shoulder in the corner of the end zone. An un-stoppable play executed by two players in perfect sync. To every Raider fan watching, the heartburn of years of watching our team lose these games, an odd realization washed over each of us...Maybe we've turned a corner. Maybe we can once again be respected as a quality, competitive football organization.
