The Raiders came into Nashville reeling from a three game losing steak and any fading hopes of the playoffs on the line and pull out a sloppy, wet and much needed win. Seth Roberts got a game ball for making three bigtime plays as he established himself as a legit WR3 to compliment Crabtree and Cooper. But the unsung hero of the game was an unlikley FA cornerback named David Amerson, who replaced the benched former first round pick DJ Hayden and made big plays all day.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. –- David Amerson didn’t deserve to get demoted, but got pulled from the starting lineup just the same.
He became the Raiders’ No. 3 cornerback after TJ Carrie moved back from safety when Nate Allen got healthy, apparently behind DJ Hayden in the pecking order.
